A host of ardent and committed educators, the state of the art library and laboratories, cutting edge curricula, exciting co-scholastic activities and abundance of other essential facilities make the perfect recipe for forging ideal characters. In an effort to make teaching more engaging and interactive, each classroom has been fitted with the latest smart class technology that imparts an enduring, interesting and exciting learning experience.

 

Creativity involves breaking out of established patterns in order to look at things in a different way. Hence, the school curriculum has been designed to nourish the physical, emotional, social and cultural needs of the students.

 

Let’s say, we at Amrita, don’t tell the children what to think but how to think. The school provides an appropriate and participative learning milieu, inculcating life skills in the susceptible minds. It is mandatory for all the students to take part in the activities that stimulate critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. The idea is to make tutelage meaningful and relevant to the socio-economic needs of the times and also to equip our youth to face sundry challenges. The school has attained its eminence through the achievements of its students. It gives me immense pleasure to state that our students have been garnering accolades in a series of prestigious contests held in inter-school, district and national and international level. The excellence manifested in the scholastic and co-scholastic ambits have been receiving the acclaim that it deserves. These achievements keep us inspired to perform even better in the years to come. 

In the era of eroding values, it is highly gratifying to see the progress the school has made by imbibing in its students value based education synergized with modern teaching-learning methods.

 

The administration and staff believe that every student is unique, special and gifted. Through various means, such as workshops, class assemblies, awareness campaigns and special programmes, students are continually encouraged to appreciate the diverse community and develop a concern and active respect for the environment. After all, all of us wish to see a generation of well informed and emotionally sound youngsters at the helm of affairs in future. Dalai Lama had once said, "When educating the minds of our youth, we must not forget to educate their hearts".

 

Keeping with this ideology, the school has initiated 'Amritam Project', an initiative that aims at strengthening the moral fire of the students by allowing them to experience the joy of giving. Amrita’s scholars diligently perform their civic duties by endorsing Clean India Mission, working towards producing zero waste, donating generously to those who are in dire straits and so on.

On one hand these glorious feats fill us with pride and on the other hand they remind us of the need to be perseverant and consistent. I sincerely hope that this quest for excellence will forever be our driving force.
